The suspect in human trafficking is extradited from Georgia

Astana, August 11, 2018. Today, employees of the Prosecutor General's Office and Interpol of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan extradited from Georgia a Jordanian citizen Amer Salameh, wanted by the Department of Internal Affairs of the Karaganda region on suspicion of human trafficking.

According to the materials of the case, Salameh is suspected that in 2016 in Karaganda he organized the recruitment of girls for use as drug couriers outside the Republic of Kazakhstan.

After the commission of the crime, the suspect disappeared from the criminal prosecution authorities, after which he was put on the international wanted list.

At present, Salameh is placed in the pre-trial detention center in Astana.
