In the Prosecutor General's office of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the meeting between the Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan Mr. Askhat Daulbayev and the Prosecutor General of Mongolia Mr. Dambii Dorligjav.
In his introduction, A.Daulbayev evaluated the fruitful cooperation with the competent authorities of Mongolia in the issues of strengthening the rule of law in two countries. He noted that this visit is an important step for further development of the existing relationship between the supervisory authorities of Kazakhstan and Mongolia, as well as confirmation of the parties' interest in strengthening the existing relations.
Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan also informed foreign colleagues about the priority actions of prosecution service in Kazakhstan, and the work done in the area of expansion and strengthening the international legal cooperation.
During the meeting was held a constructive dialogue and exchange of views on topical inter-agency issues, particularly in the field of combating crime, as well as in the field of extension the legal framework. As the interlocutors emphasized, in the context of current strategic objectives on ensuring the regional security, increases the urgency in further consolidation of efforts in the achievement of common objectives in the fight against transnational crime.
In turn, the Prosecutor General of Mongolia thanked Kazakh colleagues for the warm welcome and expressed his readiness to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation.
Following the negotiations, was signed the Agreement on cooperation between the Prosecutor General's office of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Mongolia.
At the same time, Mr.Dorligjav visited and examined the latest developments of the Committee for Legal Statistics and Special Records of the Prosecutor General’s office of Kazakhstan.
