Today, during the official visit of the kazakh delegation headed by the Prime-Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov to the Hungary, took place working meetings of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Daulbayev with the Minister of State for Justice of Hungary Robert Repassy and Prosecutor General of Hungary Peter Polt.

A.Daulbayev thanked the Hungarian colleagues for the warm welcome, and have noted that the cooperation of Kazakhstan and Hungary in the criminal and law sphere has many points of contact on key questions in the field of the international counteraction of crime.

Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan emphasized that consolidation efforts of the Kazakh law enforcement agencies with the foreign colleagues in the fight against transnational organized crime is a priority for the General Prosecutor's Office of Kazakhstan .

The parties noted with satisfaction that the cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of two countries, both multilateral and bilateral formats, is being implemented efficiently.

During this visit, the Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan and Minister of State for Justice of Hungary signed Agreements between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Hungary on extradition and transfer of sentenced persons, directed on strengthening cooperation between two countries in the fight against crime, law and order. In addition, these international documents are urged to be a guarantee of protection of the rights and legitimate interests of Kazakhstan and Hungary citizens.

A.Daulbayev also noted that the conclusion of such agreements with European countries is an evidence to the growing trust from European States to the law system of Kazakhstan,creation in our state of recognized international standards mechanisms guaranteeing protection of the human rights and freedoms.
