Astana, January 23, 2018. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a meeting on the issues of digitization of law enforcement activities, enforcement proceedings and forensic data.
The staff of the General Prosecutor's Office reported on the implementation of 5 projects implemented under the State Program "Digital Kazakhstan".
The projects are aimed at ensuring a reliable legal environment and strict protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens, the interests of legal entities and the state.
Digitalization of the criminal process will allow exercising effective supervision and departmental control of cases online. It will provide participants access to process.
The electronic format of the administrative process blocks unlawful decisions of the body, reduces the number of procedural errors, complaints, and will allow to track collisions in the law, anomalies in its application practice.
The system of control over business checks, the transfer to electronic format of scheduling of inspections, exclude unlawful actions on the part of controlling state bodies and strengthen the measures to protect business.
The being created system of "E-appeals" will ensure control over consideration of state appeals by citizens, will allow to make a qualitative assessment of their activities.
The Analytical Center being created is a tool for a global assessment of the state of crime in the country and its prevention. The system can be used not only by prosecutors, but also by local executive bodies to correctly prioritize improvement of the situation in the region.
Projects are long-termed and designed for 2-3 years.
As a result of the meeting, the General Prosecutor's Office was instructed to ensure timely and high-quality work on the digitization of the law enforcement system, as well as to take measures to widely publicize the results of the work in this direction.
