Today, the General Prosecutor’s Office, together with the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken” and the “Nur Otan” Party, held the IV Forum for the Protection of Businesses “Supervision of the prosecutor's office in the field of entrepreneurship”.

The representatives of the business community, judges of the Supreme Court, members of Parliament and the first heads of state bodies took part in the Forum.

Opening the meeting, the General Prosecutor drew the attention of the participants to the legal and organizational measures taken.

He noted that by joint efforts three road maps were implemented, about three hundred events in key areas were completed.

In particular, digital technologies have been introduced to ensure the transparency of state control and supervision.

The prosecution authorities have developed automated systems for the Unified Register of Administrative Proceedings (URAP), the Unified Register of Subjects and Objects of Inspections (URSOI) and other projects.

The criminal process is being modernized, administrative barriers and the number of checks are reduced.

Staged humanization has reduced the number of unjustified involvement of entrepreneurs in the orbit of criminal prosecution by almost 4 times (from 13,600 in 2015 to 3,549).

At the same time, Gizat Nurdauletov announced the need for further improvement of the regulatory framework, which will allow building an effective model for protecting businessmen from unjustified criminal prosecution and counteracting the “shadow” economy.

The Chairman of the Presidium of Atameken NCE Timur Kulibayev thanked the General Prosecutor for productive cooperation and said that the National Chamber is currently working on the creation of a Unified Business Register, the concept of which has already been supported by the Government.

They work out issues of integration and obtaining the necessary information for the creation and its maintenance together with state bodies.

In turn, the first deputy of the Nur OTAN Party Bauyrzhan Baybek noted effective overall work and requires the Party’s regional branches to actively connect and create the most favorable conditions for business development in the region.

At the end of the Forum, they approved Roadmap, which provides for a number of joint activities.

It covers business-sensitive issues - from problems in the field of architectural, construction and land relations to risk management systems of regulatory and supervisory authorities.
